Accessibility Statement
Last updated: April 2026
This is a translation of the German original. In the event of any discrepancy, the German version shall prevail.
Our Commitment
aincare was built from the ground up for people who find conventional AI assistants hard to use. Accessibility is not an afterthought but a core part of our design. We strive for conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA and are committed to compliance with the German Accessibility Strengthening Act (Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz, BFSG), which has been in effect since June 28, 2025.
Conformance Status
This website and the aincare app are partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA and the European standard EN 301 549. The content listed below is not yet fully accessible (see section "Known Limitations"). We are continuously working to improve accessibility.

- ARIA attributes for interactive elements
- Lexend typeface — specifically designed for reduced visual stress and improved readability
- Responsive design for all screen sizes
- Multilingual (German, English, Turkish) with correctly declared language attributes
Known Limitations
Despite our efforts, the following limitations currently exist:
- AI-generated content cannot always be verified for accessibility (e.g., alternative text for described images).
- Full screen reader support (TalkBack/VoiceOver) in the app is currently being improved.
- PDF documents provided through the AI assistant may not be fully accessible.
We are actively working to address these limitations and aim for full conformance with WCAG 2.1 AA and the BFSG.
